PTA Membership

Here are some of the ways you can play a role in our school’s success:

Join the PTA. This is a simple step that you can take on our Totem site. It only costs $9 per child, parent, or family member to join (plus a $1 processing fee), and you are not required to attend meetings.

However, as a PTA member, you can serve on one of our committees, vote on matters brought before the PTA, benefit from several discounts, or simply show that you support our school. Click on the link below to become a member today!

Volunteer. Our programs are only successful because of our volunteers! We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities ranging from those that can be done at home to those that require a few hours at school and those that require lots of time at school. Dads on Duty-Friday, September 4th

HEY DADS...looking for a quick and easy way to get involved? Our first High Five Friday of the year will take place on Friday, September 4th! We are looking for a few dads to hang out in the car rider and bus lanes to greet our students with high fives between 7:45-8:15 am. This is a small time commitment with a BIG IMPACT for our students and staff!

Book Fair & Grandparents Week Volunteers Needed!

The Literati Book Fair is coming back to PMES the week of September 14th! Your student will visit the fair with their class during the week. As in previous years, the Book Fair will run in conjunction with our Grandparent Week lunches which will be held September 15th-17th. Invitations for your child's lunch will be sent home by their teacher. After lunch, students and their guests are encouraged to stop by the media center to shop! Every purchase made during the fair (either online or in person) earns money for the school!

Rockin' Recess Fundraiser

READY, SET, ROCK! Our PMES Fundraiser will begin on Friday, September 25th! Get ready to turn up the volume on school spirit because this year’s fundraiser theme is Rockin' Recess, and we are on a mission to bring an upgrade to our lower playground! Our goal is to raise funds for play equipment designed to spark imagination, encourage teamwork, and keep our students active during every single recess.

Fundraiser envelopes will be sent home in Friday Folders on Friday, September 25th. Collection days will be held on September 28th, 30th, and October 2nd, 5th and 7th. Students have a variety of ways to win prizes throughout the fundraiser!

Keep an eye out for upcoming event packets and details on how your family can help us hit our financial milestone—together, let's build a play space that truly rocks!

Want to purchase an ad to go in the back of the yearbook for your student? This is very popular with our 5th grader parents! Deadline to purchase ad space is 11/11 (or order your ad before 10/10 to secure early bird pricing). You must have your photos ready to design the ad when it’s purchased.

Want to submit photos for this year's yearbook? We love that! You can email your photos to pmeshawksyearbook@gmail.com or just post them in the comments section when we issue photo calls on Facebook! No need to do both-our Yearbook Committee will pull the photos from Facebook if you post them there.
