Creekwood ECC Chat
March, 2025
The month of March marks the beginning of the third trimester of this school year, where students will have so many opportunities to learn and grow. With nicer weather in sight, classes will be spending lots of learning time outside. Please be sure your child is dressed for the weather each day. As we all know, Oklahoma's weather can drastically change from day-to-day, so please have your child prepared with extra clothes for the right size and season.
Parent-teacher conferences will take place on March 6th and 11th from 3:30-7:00pm. Be sure to connect with your child's teacher to schedule a conference. Spring break will be from March 14-23.

Danielle Tackett
Mrs. Danielle Tackett graduated from OSU-Stillwater in 2009. She worked in the corporate world for several years before becoming a mom. She has two daughters at CLP and has been teaching in early childhood for four years. She loves singing, hiking and spending time with her family.
Crystal Quiroz
Mrs. Crystal Quiroz has been working in public schools for 10+ years. She has spent time in both special education and general education. Mrs. Quiroz loves being outside and reading stories. She has three children of her own, ages 15, 12 and 6. They are her world and the only thing she loves more than teaching is being a mom to them.
Shelley Morgan
Mrs. Morgan has been teaching for 26 years, 18 of those years have been in the Broken Arrow school district. Just over a year ago, Mrs. Morgan took on a new role as a GiGi to twins. When she is not caring for our students at CWECC, she is more than likely spending time with those new grandbabies.
Krista Cox
Krista Cox has been at Creekwood ECC since it opened in 2013.
She has 2 daughters and is a Mimi to 2 beautiful grandchildren.
She loves watching football - especially TU, OU and the Kansas City Chiefs. She also loves going to the movies, decorating and doing craft projects. Ms. Cox's favorite thing about PreK is how exited the kids get about what we are learning. When parents tell us that their child came home talking about what we did at school, Ms. Cox knows we have made a difference and have started that love of learning in the children.
Tracy Turner
Ms. Tracy Turner's teaching career began in 1984 in Enid , Oklahoma. She has taught in Oklahoma, Arkansas, California and New Jersey. She taught sixteen years in Special Education, four years in kindergarten and this is her ninth year in Pre-K. She enjoys spending time with her three grown daughters and her grandchildren. Ms. Turner's favorite places to travel are the beach or the mountains.
Jade Welch
Ms. Welch is a Broken Arrow graduate who has spent several years in the district as a substitute teacher and now works as a teacher's assistant. She is an avid reader, loves animals, and enjoys spending her free time crafting or crocheting! She is also a parent to two young children.
