On April 30th the DCHS Counselors will be hosting a Passport to Graduation event at the school. This is a mandatory event for all in-person and virtual students to confirm they have met all requirements for graduation. It will start at 8:30am in the DCHS Performing Arts Center.

Students at MDTC, RISE, Career Academy should attend classes as normal.

Concurrent students should attend if it does not affect their concurrent classes.

April:

• 17th NHS Induction

• 18th Free Senior Pictures (Signups are outside Shatswell’s room)

• 23rd Senior Group Photo @ 2pm (This depends on if we sell enough pics)

• 29th Senior verses Faculty Games 6th and 7th hour -$5.00 (all proceeds go to the Senior Scholarship)

• May 5th-9th Senior Goodbye Week-Dress Up Days

• Monday- College, Career, and Military Day

• Tuesday- Emo Day

• Wednesday- Senior Citizen Day

• Thursday- Throwback-Recreate an Elementary Photo

• Friday- DC Gear

• 8th and 9th Senior Finals

• 12th Senior Breakfast and Senior Video (GET ALL YOUR STUFF DONE)

• 13th Senior Awards @ 6pm

• 14th OKC Zoo

• 15th Special Olympics

• 16th Honor Walk and Last Pep Rally

• 16th Senior Sunset @ 7pm Bring Snacks

• 18th Baccalaureate in PAC @3pm

• 19th Graduation at 6 pm (SENIORS BE THERE AT 5 PM!!!!)

Softball tryouts will be held on Monday, April 21st at 4:30 pm. The softball field is located right next to Del City Middle School.

If you are interested in being in Eagle Press next year (Yearbook) come by Mrs. Terry's room (D 200) to pick up an application. Applications are due Friday April 25

If you did not attend a CPR class here at the school or elsewhere or do not have certification in CPR, you must come by the Nurses office, the front office or the counselors office and get a CPR OPT OUT form. Have a parent fill it out and return it. Failure to do so will result in you not being able to graduate.

Open Gym on Sundays. 4:30-6:30 April 6th, April 27th, May 4th, May 11th, May 18th.

Definition:

Having or showing a lack of proper respect for a sacred person, place, or object.

Do not open the doors for the students in the entry way. The policy is to sign on on the kiosk and get a hall pass. If you are opening the doors for students, you and the other student are not following expectations. Do NOT open any doors that lead outside or to the entry way for anyone!
