Wiggin Street Parent Update
November 1, 2024
Better Together
Families,
What a great way to end the week! We dressed up as Mr. Baer as he walked in the parade with us, so we could wish him well in his retirement. He received so many warm wishes from parents and the community. It was fun to chat it up with him as we walked together. He was also honored on Thursday with a placque from the Ohio Association of Public School Employees and the OAPSE State Vice President, Mike Lang during our staff potluck.
We welcomed our new custodian, Chopper, on his first day back at Wiggin Street today. He worked at Wiggin Street for many years and is returning after 9 years away. All of us that worked with him before know that we are lucky to have him return!
Next week, we will have a short week. There is no school on Thursday and Friday due to conferences. Please call into the office if you still need to schedule a conference with your child's teacher. Our students are more successful if we collaborate and work together to help them.
Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open during conferences, but we are in dire need of volunteers. If we do not have enough, we will have to close it down as needed. Please check out the times still open to see if you would be available to help. Thank you!
Enjoy all of the pictures from this fun week at Wiggin Street!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Best wishes,
Christy Grandstaff
