Renaissance Virtual's Graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 18th at 4:00 pm at the Renaissance Auditorium located at 601 Clinton Street, Athens, Alabama 35611. More details at a later date.

Trojan Patriot Academy | Summer 2027

When: June 6–11, 2027

Where: Troy University & the American Village

Who: Rising Juniors and Seniors who have demonstrated positive leadership

Cost: FREE for all accepted Alabama students

Applications Open: November 2, 2026

Trojan Patriot Academy is a week-long leadership and civics experience for rising Junior and Senior Alabama high school students. Students spend the week learning, developing leadership skills, connecting with other student leaders from across the state, and participating in hands-on activities at Troy University and the American Village located in Montevallo.

Thank you for allowing your students to participate in Dual Enrollment with Calhoun Community College. To facilitate registration the Dual Enrollment Department has highlighted some dates for the spring & summer 2027 semesters.

Dual Enrollment Registration Opens for online classes or for classes offered on a Calhoun campus for the Spring & Summer 2027 semesters. Registration for Spring 2027 opens on October 20, 2026. All documentation, including the student application for admission to Calhoun, the course approval form, transcript and, if required, ACT or placement scores, must be received by the Dual Enrollment office at the time of registration. Spring Classes begin January 11, 2027. Summer registration will open April 1, 2027 and the deadline will be mid-May.

Sometimes students need a little additional help with their dual enrollment. Calhoun offers their STAR Institute. The STAR Institue is the student tutoring and academic resource institute. STAR provides free one on one tutoring in all subject areas and success seminars throughout each semester.
