Congratulations to our new National Honor Society Members!!

Thank you to NHS Sponsor, Mr. Gwardinski for organizing this special ceremony, to Ms. Corso & Ms. Zolynsky for their preparations, to Chef Katie and her Culinary students for providing the delicious treats, and to our current members for their attendance and example. It was a beautiful night. Pictured below are: Mr. Gwardinski with officers Jarret Cameon, Celsey McGrath, Emma Genig, and Ciera Corso.

🎶 Our Band & Choir Put On A Holiday Show 🎄
On December 6th, the Seitz auditorium was filled with the sounds of the season as the RCHS symphonic band and both the Seitz and RCHS choirs, under the leadership of Directors Pickell and Stark presented their annual holiday show. The band energized the crowd with selections from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ye Banks & Braes O'Bonnie Doon, music from Loki, and Iron & Ice: A Viking Adventure and our choir performed the soothing sounds of Due Pupille Amabili, A La Nanita Nana, and holiday classic, Carol of the Bells. It was a wonderful evening to kick off the holiday season and highlight the talents of our hard working students.
Congratulations, Jackson Bonner!!
Senior Jackson Bonner, who is currently enrolled through DCTC (Downriver Career Technical Consortium) in a CTE program that is offered at Henry Ford College, was recognized on December 7th for his outstanding HVAC accomplishments. He has displayed exceptional dedication & proficiency in his program of study & was one of 12 students that earned a scholarship. To qualify for these scholarships, Jackson successfully met rigorous criteria, maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA, fulfilled enrollment qualifications, and showcased an unwavering commitment to his academic pursuits. As a result of his outstanding efforts, Jackson earned the Johnson Control Industries & Debbie Dingell scholarships. We are so proud of him and wish him all the best in this field!
Congratulations, Jackie Scheiber ~ SVSU Bound!!
On December 19, senior Jackie Scheiber signed her letter of intent to take her volleyball talents to Saginaw Valley State University. Jackie has been a four-year varsity player and earned 1st team Huron League honors this year. Although she's undecided on a major, we know she will be successful in whatever she pursues as she also earned All Academic honors this year as well. We are so proud of her and wish her all the best at SVSU!! Pictured with Jackie are Coaches Deanna, Abby & Milt.

Culinary Art Students Spread Treats & Good Cheer
Our Culinary Arts students have been hard at work making treats for area superintendents, local business supporters, and other fortunate members in our community. This past month they've perfected their baking skills by making nearly 1000 cookies, and making pies, tarts, and tortes. It's our pleasure to serve as their tasters and offer our constructive feedback!
