Teacher and Classroom information
- Mr. Lee will be retiring on August 31st. We already have a replacement teacher, Mrs. Scranton-Kaur. Mr. Lee will be helping out until his last day.
- For 6th graders who have AVID READINESS on their elective wheel; we have changed that class to Intro to Spanish, which will last for a trimester. We were just unable to make the name change at this time.
- We have one lunch period this year. We ordered more outside lunch tables and are looking to purchase even more.
- The Advisory class will meet everyday for the first 5 days of school to cover PBIS lessons and school rules. After that, it will only meet on Wednesdays. For new parents:
The Advisory Class meets every Wednesday and is designed to help students build the academic habits, organization, and mindset they need to succeed in middle school and prepare them for the future. While it functions like a homeroom, it offers a more structured setting where students receive support in areas such as goal-setting, time management, study skills, social/emotional, and preparation for high school.
Each week, students will check their school email, review their grades, and stay on top of any missing assignments. The class also focuses on building a strong sense of community between students, teamwork, and helping students grow into confident, responsible learners who are prepared for the rigor of high school and beyond.
