Our Black History Month Celebration, hosted by Friends of Waters, is coming up! Please sign up to volunteer to support this event. Seventh and eighth grade students can also work toward their service hours by volunteering.

Do you have high quality audio/video recording equipment? The production team of our spring musical "Finding Nemo Jr" is looking for community volunteers to capture our April production. The show will perform at Disney II Magnet School on April 10th and 11th. Please contact Mr. Batdorf dbatdorf1@cps.edu or Mr. Landis cqlandis@cps.edu directly with questions and interest.

What:

• Students and Staff can “purchase” a singing Valentine for a friend at Waters.

• Singing Valentines consist of a card and a song sung to the recipient by a group of students.

• Students will deliver these Singing Valentines on the morning of Friday, February 13th in the classroom of the recipient.

Where:

• Purchasing/Sign Up: Lunch Room Monday/Tuesday, Feb. 9th and 10th

• Delivery: throughout the building by small student singing groups

• Groups are organized so they deliver/stay in one general area/floor of the building

When: Friday, Feb. 13th during 1st period (8:10-9am)
