Eagle Ridge- eThursday Folder

Message From the Principal-

It’s a great day to be an Eagle!

Wish Week was a powerful reminder of who we are as a school community, and I couldn’t let it pass without sharing just how impressed and inspired I am.

Our student leadership team truly shined. Watching our students go out of their way—selflessly, joyfully, and with purpose—to help ensure that a child’s wish comes true was incredibly moving. These moments are more than events; they are life lessons in empathy, service, and the power of kindness.

I also want to celebrate our amazing staff for their flexibility and positivity, especially during the Coin Stall. I was in awe of the literal mounds of coins stacked on tables, patiently counted one by one. Even the substitutes who (unfortunately!) happened to join us that day jumped right in with great attitudes and smiles. It spoke volumes about the culture of Eagle Ridge.

One of my favorite moments was seeing the smiles on our students’ faces as they connected, laughed, and recharged together while teachers counted away. Those simple, joyful moments are what school memories are made of.

I feel incredibly blessed to work at a school that truly believes making a difference in others’ lives also nurtures the soul. Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for making Wish Week such a meaningful success. Eagle Ridge continues to be a place where hearts lead the way.
