STORY TIME
EVERY MINIUTE COUNTS
Texas law requires students to be present at least 90% of the academic year.
Instruction begins at 8:15 and ends at 3:35. Students who arrive after 8:15 are counted tardy. Each grade level at CES has a structured day with purposeful instruction occurring from the first minute of the day until the last. .
Please help ensure your child arrives to school on time, and avoid picking up your child early from school if at all possible.
Counselor's Corner
1. Never share personal or private information about where you live, your age or where you go to school
2. Don't talk to strangers. Remember if you have never met them in real life, they are strangers.
3. Don't share your location or "check in".
4. Know what cyberbullying looks like and never engage.
5. Do not share or accept inappropriate pictures.
As cell phones are becoming more and more prevalent in younger students, it is imperative that they are aware of the dangers and how to proactively mitigate the risks associated with being more connected than ever.
