Mr. Hilton's Highlights
Hello:
What a great day for the Rock-A-Thon! I truly believe this was the best Rock-A-Thon we have ever had. Okay, it was our first one, but I’m not sure how we are going to top it next year! 😊 I hope your kids came home excited to tell you all about their day. I cannot thank everyone enough for your generous support of the PTO and our Cool Creek students. The kids have raised a little more than $58,000! That is truly amazing and would not have been possible without the incredible support of our families.
I also cannot thank our PTO enough for all the work that went into organizing the entire week and today. A tremendous amount of time and effort went into making this happen. The first one is always the hardest, and you all knocked it out of the park! A huge thank you to all the parents who joined us for the assembly this morning and to those who hung out with us throughout the day. Your support and involvement made the day even more special for our kids. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first Rock-A-Thon such a great day. It was a pretty special way to make some memories together as a Cool Creek family!
Please remember if you are coming to have lunch with your child we ask that you not share food with other students. We have many allergies in the building and want to keep everyone safe. Also remember that a SafeVisitor background check will be required for anyone who visits our schools, including family members of our students. You will be able to get your background check here.
Have a great weekend,
Andy
Make Your Voice Heard — Register to Vote
Voting is one of the most important ways we participate in our community and our democracy. As a school district, we believe in preparing students to be engaged, informed citizens, and we encourage every eligible member of our community to exercise that same civic responsibility.
The deadline to register to vote in Indiana for the November 3 General Election is October 5, 2026.
Whether you need to register, update your registration, or simply check your voter registration status, visit IndianaVoters.in.gov.
Be informed. Be engaged. Make your voice heard.

Coats for Kids
Fill the Box. Share the Warmth.
It's hard to think about winter coats when it’s 90 degrees outside, but chilly days will be here before we know it!
Coats for Kids helps provide warm winter coats to children and families in need. Collection bins are available at each of our schools, so as you clean out closets or shop for the season ahead, help us fill the box and share the warmth!
Families who need a coat can register through October 8.

Safe Visitor Background Checks
Planning to Volunteer? Get Ready Now!
If you think you may want to volunteer, help with a classroom party, join your child for lunch, or chaperone a field trip this year, now is a great time to complete your background check.
Westfield Washington Schools uses SafeVisitor for visitor management and background checks. Because the approval process can take 3–6 business days, completing your background check now will help ensure you're ready when an opportunity comes up. The $12.95 background check is valid for four years and can be used at any WWS school.
Don't wait until the field trip permission slip comes home—check this one off your back-to-school list now!
Protect the Tech
Chromebook Protection Plan Offer Ends September 21
Families of students in grades 3–12 can purchase optional Chromebook protection through K12 Tech for $23 per student. While the plan is not required, it is highly recommended since Chromebook repairs can be costly.
