Monroe May Parent Newsletter

From Mrs. Mireles, Principal
Hi Roadrunner families!
Now that we are well into the year and have settled in nicely, I wanted to make you aware of one more (little) change that will be coming in January. When students return from the winter break, we will be asking that all visitors that step onto our campus be wearing a Fast pass. This includes before school hours. After some conversations, we have made this decision because when students are dropped off to school, they many times do not have an adult with them and are in our (May's) care, even if it is before the school day begins. Because they are in our care, we want to ensure that every adult on campus has already been run through our database this school year. I am stating this now, so you have 3 months to get your Fast Pass from the office. Plenty of time to scan your ID when it's convenient for you. Thank you to the (many) families that have already done so this school year.
I will be sure to send out reminders as we get closer. Thank you for your help with this.
We will have a mobile immunization clinic here next Wednesday! Use this link to register for vaccines for you and/or your children. If you would like your children to receive their vaccines, you can check them out from school, get their vaccines in the bus that will be here @ May, then check them back in once they're done.
- Click on the link
- Select the blue button that says "Pop-up school based events"
