A Message From the Principal

Dear Academy Families and Friends,

We had a great week, starting out on Sunday with our annual Trunk or Treat, followed by the return of the running club, a field trip to the Patriots Hall of Fame and all the great teaching and learning throughout the week. We held our Early Literacy Screening meetings and even adjusted our schedules to make the morning procedures run just a bit more efficiently. All in all, it was a very productive week.

As icing on the cake, we held our annual Fun Run extravaganza on Friday. It truly is one of my favorite days of the year, a day where we as a school community come together and have a super time outside. The music, the families and most importantly, the kids laughing and dancing to the music out on the baseball fields...we even had perfect fall weather...it all comes together. It is a testament to our school's love and strength as community center as much as a learning center. As principal, I could not be prouder of our Weymouth Spirit. I would happily take another pie to the face for days like these!

Thank you again to all of the volunteers, the AAPC, and our two incredible coordinators, Mrs. Colleen Conners and Mrs. Jennifer Gerg as well as all of our staff members who "took one" for the team. We uploaded so many incredible pictures from the event on our facebook page. I hope your youngsters had a much fun as the staff did!

Did You Know?

We would like to remind families about our backpack program and the Weymouth Food Pantry.

We encourage families to consider exploring local food resources, including the Weymouth Food Pantry, which offers pop-up locations throughout the community. You can view the full Food Pantry Calendar for upcoming dates and sites. Additionally, the Weymouth Schools Backpack Program continues to provide weekend meals for students. Families are encouraged to sign up here if interested.

Fun Run Info

Fun Run this Friday was awesome! We had so much fun and for such a good cause. We hit $29,554. We're so close to the $30,000 mark it's simply amazing!

We appreciate all the efforts and hard work of our families as this goes right back to serving our students additional opportunities and experiences. The last call for donations, we can accept them thru Monday!!!
