Lions Leading!
Culturally Responsive Teaching
Mrs. O’Brien and Ms. Pryor designed their Biodiversity unit to emphasize the interconnectedness of living organisms and the environment. By encouraging students to explore how ecosystems mirror the balance and diversity in their own communities, they made science meaningful and relevant. Their lesson helped students see themselves as stewards of the world around them.
Mrs. Greenfield engaged students in a hands-on exploration of Feudalism by having them create castles while examining the political structures of the time. By inviting students to compare historical power dynamics with leadership and community structures they experience today, she helped students connect history to their own identities and the systems that shape society.
Through these lessons, our teachers are modeling how culturally responsive teaching sparks curiosity, empowerment, and belonging across all subject areas.
Lincoln Athletics!
Great job!
Fall sports are officially underway! Our student-athletes have already shown incredible teamwork and resilience in their opening games:
- Girls Varsity Flag Football played a hard-fought game against Culver City, falling just short with a final score of 7–6.
- Girls JV Flag Football had an exciting win over our crosstown rivals, JAMS, with a dominant 25–0 victory.
- Boys Varsity Flag Football started strong, shutting out Beverly Vista with an impressive 20–0 win.
We are so proud of all our teams and the way they represent Lincoln with Respect, Ownership, Accountability, and Resilience (ROAR). Come out and cheer them on this season—your support makes a difference!
Halloween Festival! Coming soon...
E-Bike Safety
Please read
Please take a moment to review the flyer provided by Santa Monica Police Department regarding E-Bike regulations. We want to remind all students that it’s important to follow traffic laws at all times for everyone’s safety. This includes not riding on sidewalks and always wearing helmets when riding.
Thank you for helping us keep our students and community safe.
