Newsletter Feature: Math Week-Fall Ball - Literary Character Day

PS 233 Weekly Newsletter

Week of October 26, 2026

Dear Families and Scholars,

We had another exciting week of teaching and learning at PS 233! We welcomed our Superintendent, Celeste Terry, who visited classrooms to observe instruction and celebrate our strengths while providing valuable, actionable feedback to support our continued growth.

Math Week was filled with engaging activities that brought mathematics to life! Thank you to everyone who shared highlights of our students learning and having fun.

We ended the week on a high note with our fabulous Fall Ball! A huge shout-out to Ms. Allen, PC, Ms David, Nurse Levy, Ms. Boyke, Ms. Spellman, Ms. Wyhte, Ms. Sydney Smith, Ms. Constantine, Ms. Simone, our PTA Treasurer, and everyone who helped make this event memorable. Our children danced their little hearts out, and it was truly a joy to see!

As we enter the final week of October, let's continue the momentum, celebrate our successes, and finish the month strong!

Next week, we look forward to celebrating Literary Character Day for grades 3K–5! Scholars, come dressed as your favorite book character and enjoy special treats as we celebrate our love of reading!

Remember, scholars, complete your homework, read every day, and always put your best foot forward!

Together, we are resetting the compass for success at PS 233!

With appreciation,

Debra Cunningham, Principal
