Thank you for being very patient this week. Since the bus company is short staffed, we needed to be creative with our routes. Below you will find our master bus routes along with route information.
Buses 1/3, 4/5, 8/9, 2/11 are now combined. Bus 8 was eliminated from Walsh.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate through the beginning of the school year.

Physical Education News
My name is Joe Umana. This is my third year teaching Physical Education at Walsh Elementary School. As I embark on another year, I look forward to seeing the students in person and having more of a traditional P.E. class! It should be a fun and physically active school year.
In my P.E. class, we will focus on the following: being safe, showing good sportsmanship, trying our best, and having fun. I really try to stress all of these so that all students can have an enjoyable time while participating in a safe environment.
The students will be participating in various units throughout the year. They will participate in multiple sports, learn many different locomotor movements, and play various activities that will focus on spatial awareness. I will try to get them outside as much as possible and keep them at safe distances when inside in the gymnasium.
By the end of the year, my goals are to get the students to understand the importance of movement, being active, and getting their heart rate up. I also want them to know why they should eat healthy and the positive effects that it has on their mind/body.
Safety is very important! Please make sure that your child has gym shoes on the days that they have P.E. class.
Let’s have an amazing school year!
