Now that we are into the month of May, things will become quite busy with a lot of information shared through this newsletter each week. The biggest change is that Crane Beach Day will now be on June 17th, there was a minor conflict with the last day of Kindergarten plus the 17th worked better for the Trustees of the Reservation, with Juneteenth on a Friday they are treating it as a holiday weekend. Who Received The Appreciation Tapestry This Week?
I would like to give a shout out to Chris Senechal, Sam Colby, Leslie Bedell, Alan Laroche, Jenn Couto, A.J. Lease, Patrick Meaney, Sean Fitzgerald, Deb Davidson, and Jen Reed for taking the 6th graders up to Maine for their Ecology School trip. We would not be able to run this time honored trip without them volunteering their afterschool time to chaperone. The kids that went on the trip, as well as their families and I are grateful! I also enjoyed my day with the students in Maine as well.
Ipswich Community News
Relay For Life
My name is Katie Mosco and I am a part of the Interact club here at Ipswich High School which is known for helping the community and putting service above self. On May 30th we are having a town wide event called Relay for Life to raise money that will go to cancer research. Alana Novello and Emma Eliot ran this event last year, and with the help of the club this year we hope to make this event a huge success. Come to Relay for Life on May 30th from 5pm-9pm at the Ipswich Highschool track! The Interact Club at IHS is running a town wide event to raise money towards cancer research.
