Principal's Message: Ms. Montes
We have been soaring through the month of August, and we are off to a wonderful start! Our students are learning and practicing our campus behavior expectations while continuing to build on their academic progress.
We have completed our beginning-of-year NWEA testing in Reading and Math. This assessment data is an important tool that helps us identify areas where students may need additional support. Your child’s individual results will be shared with you during our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, September 16. We look forward to seeing you there.
Attendance is a key factor in student success. Research shows that students who attend school regularly achieve stronger learning outcomes. We are excited to share that, thanks to your support, we surpassed our attendance goal every week in August, ending the month with an impressive 96.08%—congratulations!
To celebrate, our students enjoyed their first PBIS event, where they danced to their favorite tunes in recognition of meeting their attendance and behavior goals. We are so proud of their efforts and will continue to celebrate their successes throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s work together to make this school year a success!
