Bellerive Bulletin January 26, 2025
BelleriveBulletinJanuary 26, 2025

Dear Bellerive Families,

With the snow days behind us, we are all excited to settle back into our school routine!

I hope you've had a chance to review your child's progress report and NWEA report, which were sent out by the Parkway Assessment team last week. Our Bellerive teachers have worked diligently to provide thoughtful and detailed comments on your child's progress, strengths, and areas for growth. If you did not receive the email or are having trouble accessing the reports, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we are happy to assist. Take this opportunity to celebrate your child's progress and help them set new goals.

We also encourage you to support our Souper Bowl Food Drive by donating canned goods and other non-perishable items to benefit the Parkway Pantry. This meaningful initiative is proudly organized by our 5th grade students.

Be sure to check out the invitation to participate in the African American Read-In, and don’t forget to order your yearbook before it's too late! Have you signed up for Trivia Night yet? You don’t need a group or a full table to join—individual tickets are available. I’m looking forward to a fun night, and it’s a great way to support Bellerive PTO’s largest and most important fundraiser.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making Bellerive a wonderful place to learn and grow. Let’s have a fantastic week together!

In partnership,

Joey Kneer

Granting Dreams Applications Now Open! Granting Dreams Applications Now Open!

Dream Grants are awarded in amounts of up to $250 each and help students access personal learning opportunities outside of school. Some grants are non-monetary and connect students with professionals who offer amazing shadowing experiences in the workplace.

Since beginning the program, the Parkway Alumni Association has awarded over $400,000 in Dream Grants, along with many other valuable resources to Parkway K-12 students. These grants often provide students with opportunities they may not have had without the financial support and connections from the PAA.

Applications are due by February 14, 2025.
