Collective Conferences: Partnering for Student Success!

October 2 - 5-7PM

October 6 - 5-7PM

Each fall, Renaissance holds Collective Conferences—student-driven, teacher-guided, and family-supported meetings designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school. These conferences provide a structured opportunity to celebrate progress, address challenges, and develop a collaborative plan for continued success.

Who attends?
Both the student and their parent(s)/guardian(s) are expected to participate.

Student role: Students lead the conversation by reflecting on their learning, sharing progress and challenges, and identifying goals. This process helps them develop self-advocacy, responsibility, and ownership of their learning journey.

Teacher role: Teachers contribute insights, provide feedback, and suggest strategies that can support the student’s ongoing growth. They also address questions and help ensure that next steps are clearly defined.

Parent/guardian role: Families are encouraged to listen, celebrate successes, ask questions, and engage in a goal-oriented discussion. This collaborative approach builds student motivation and strengthens the home-school connection.

Scheduling: Families may sign up for one or two teachers, depending on the areas they wish to focus on. If more time is needed, or if a teacher’s slots are full, families are encouraged to reach out directly to arrange an alternate meeting time.
