NES 05/05/25 Family Newsletter
05/05/2025

Dear NES Families,
Third through fifth grades began testing on Thursday, May 1st. Please make sure your students are at school on time each day and have had a good night's sleep each night. Teachers will not have access to student scores until May 8th. Scores should post in the family portal on that date, as well.
Thank you so much for sharing your kind words with our teachers! We have created cards with all of your notes and hung them on teacher's doors throughout the school. Please feel free to continue to add to our teacher appreciation spreadsheet with any notes you would like to share for your child's teacher.
At NES, we are always striving to create the best possible learning environment for our students. One of the most important ways we can improve is by listening to the thoughts and experiences of our school community—especially parents like you!
We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete our School Climate Survey. Your responses will help us better understand the strengths and areas for improvement in our school environment, from communication and safety to academic support and overall school climate.
Why Your Input Matters:
-
Improvement: Your feedback will directly influence our efforts to enhance the school experience for all students.
-
Collaboration: Your perspective is an essential part of building a positive school culture where everyone feels welcome, supported, and valued.
-
Confidentiality: The survey is completely anonymous, and your responses will remain confidential.
Thank you for being a part of the NES community. We are excited to hear from you and work together to make our school even better!
We hope everyone has a fabulous week!
GOOOOO TIGERS!!!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Jessica Lowe, Principal
Mrs. Heather Briney, Assistant Principal
