Weymouth Early Childhood Center
2025-2026
November 16, 2025
Good Morning,
Thank You to Our Families!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all of our families who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday and Thursday. It was wonderful to see so many of you and to have the opportunity to connect and celebrate your children’s progress. We truly value the strong partnership we share with our families as we work together to support the growth and success of every student.
School Community Belonging Survey
As part of Weymouth Public Schools' strategic planning, we need your help in creating a shared vision for Inclusive Practices - one that truly reflects who we are as a district and what we value as a community. This vision will paint a clear picture of what inclusion looks and feels like in our schools: where every student, staff member, and family feels welcomed, respected, and supported. Together we will define what it means to belong in our district and ensure that every classroom and school reflects that commitment.
Your feedback here will help us understand how welcomed, respected, and supported everyone feels in our school community. Your responses are confidential and will guide us in our work. There are 7 questions estimated to take no more than 10 minutes.

Celebrating Our Community Helpers!
At Wednesday’s Super Friend Ceremony, we proudly honored our local heroes — the Weymouth Firefighters! They visit us each year to teach important lessons about fire safety and to remind us how caring and dedicated they are to our community. Firefighter Jason O’Brien joined us for the celebration and accepted a beautifully decorated thank-you banner and poster, created by WECC students. We are so grateful for their service, kindness, and friendship!
Welcome to Adams Academy Students!
We are so excited to welcome the Adams Academy students to our classrooms! These wonderful students will be joining us throughout various times during the school day as they work toward completing their community service hours.
They will be lending a helping hand during center time, supporting children in small groups, and helping foster positive, caring, and supportive relationships with our Pre-K students. We are so fortunate to have such enthusiastic role models joining our classroom communities. Their presence helps create even more opportunities for teamwork, learning, and friendship to blossom!

Backpack Connections
How To Give Clear Directions
About this Series
The Backpack Connection Series was created by TACSEI to provide a way for teachers and parents/caregivers to work together to help young children develop social emotional skills and reduce challenging behavior.
Each Backpack Connection handout provides information that helps parents stay informed about what their child is learning at school and specific ideas on how to use the strategy or skill at home.
