Data Exposure Notification

On January 11, 2024, the North Little Rock School District was informed by our third-party vendor, Raptor, that our Visitor Management System that we utilize throughout the district had undergone an external data exposure. For the safety of our students and staff, our front office personnel use this system to check in visitors and to perform background checks before guests are allowed to enter the school.

NLRSD data is confirmed to have been included in this exposure. At this time, we do not have any credible information that indicates the sensitive data has been accessed outside of the school district for bad intentions. Raptor, the third-party company that oversees our Visitor Management System, has assured us that they will continue to investigate this issue and safeguard all of the sensitive information.

NLRSD will continue to use Raptor Technologies for our Visitor Management System as the company has upgraded its security procedures to protect sensitive data as a result of this incident.

School Showcase, Transition Fair

NLRHS and the Center of Excellence will host a Showcase and Transition Fair on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity for current and potential families to come and learn about all of the exciting programs available to students who attend the schools. In addition, families will get a chance to learn about the Special Services Department and how they assist students with 504 plans and IEPs.

School, District Closed Monday

The North Little Rock School District will observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 15, 2024. All schools and district offices will be closed.

Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Reminder: Because of the shortened week due to the holiday, students will not be released early on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Wednesday will be a full day of classes.
