Stuff The Bus!
WBHS Studio 511 Production Crew Fundraising Opportunity
ONE DISTRICT. ONE BUS. ONE BIG GOAL.
From September 22–October 2, WBSD is coming together for a district-wide shoe drive with a goal of collecting 2,500 pairs of new or gently worn shoes. Every building will participate, and on October 5, Studio 511 students will travel across the district to collect the shoes and fill a school bus, with final results announced at the October 9 WBHS homecoming football game. The drive supports communities through Funds2Orgs while also helping Studio 511 students attend the Student Television Network National Convention.
Students should bring their shoes to their Teacher Team Teacher!
Adult English Langauge Learning
OCC Clubs
All OEC students are OCC students as well. This means that all the resources available to OCC students are availalble to our students, which is great! A great option for students are the OCC club offerings. As a small high school, we are only able to offer a small number of clubs, but OCC has more to choose from that students should defintely look into.
Here is the list of student organizations at OCC
PSAT/NMSQT Testing for 11th Graders
On October 21, all 11th graders will take the PSAT/NMSQT. This is a test only for 11th graders and is a great opportunity for additional SAT practice. Additionally, the NMSQT is a scholarship-qualifying exam. Those that score high enough, may qualify for as a National Merit Scholar.
