Arrival & Dismissal Safety Reminder Arrival & Dismissal Safety Reminder

We truly appreciate the attention and cooperation families have shown with Strayer’s arrival and dismissal procedures. Your support helps keep our students safe and traffic flowing smoothly each day.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve noticed cars parking along Ronald Reagan Drive during afternoon pickup. While we understand the desire to avoid the line, this creates safety risks as students cross the bus lot, Ronald Reagan Drive, and the crosswalk leading into the staff parking area.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that all families follow the established traffic pattern through the staff parking lot when picking up students (see attached image). Thank you for your continued cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and orderly dismissal for all Panthers!

🍎 Celebrations all around! 🍎 Celebrations all around!

National Education Week

This week, we join schools across the country in celebrating National Education Week — a time to recognize the incredible dedication, talent, and heart of our educators and staff. At Strayer, we’re proud of the teachers, support staff, and administrators who go above and beyond each day to make learning meaningful, build strong relationships, and help every student grow into their best self.

Please take a moment this week to thank a teacher or staff member who’s made a difference — a kind word of appreciation goes a long way! Together, we make Strayer a place where students and staff feel supported, inspired, and proud to be Panthers.

National Education Support Professionals Day

On Wednesday (11/18), we are proud to recognize National Education Support Professionals Day and celebrate the incredible individuals who support our students each and every day. Our paraprofessionals, secretaries, custodians, cafeteria team, nurses, and technology staff play a vital role in keeping Strayer safe, welcoming, and running smoothly.

Their hard work and dedication ensure that our students are cared for, supported, and set up for success from the moment they walk through the door. We are grateful for everything they do for our school community.

BCIU Mobile Fab Lab BCIU Mobile Fab Lab

The Mobile Fab Lab is a traveling makerspace from the Bucks County Intermediate Unit that brings STEM, computer science, and digital fabrication experiences directly to schools. It transforms a space like a library into a hands-on lab with robotics, coding, and design tools that promote problem-solving and creativity.

At Strayer, the 2025-2026 residency will focus on 8th grade students, providing a computer science and robotics experience aligned with their math, science, and technology curriculum

The Fab Lab will be at Strayer during the week of 11/17!

We are excited to celebrate our students’ accomplishments during the First Marking Period Awards Ceremony on Monday, November 24, 2025!

  • 8th Grade Ceremony: 8:30–9:10 AM

  • 7th Grade Ceremony: 9:25–10:05 AM

Families of students receiving awards will be notified by Tuesday, November 18, and are warmly invited to attend. Please do not arrive prior to 8:15 AM, as we will be focused on safely welcoming students into the building at the start of the day.

Since school will be in session, all guests must sign in with the Attendance Secretary using a photo ID (driver’s license) to receive a visitor pass before entering the building. To help avoid long lines the morning of the event, guests may pre-check in on Thursday (11/20) or Friday (11/21) during normal school hours. We will print and hold your visitor pass for pickup on the day of the ceremony. For those unable to attend in person, we will livestream the event so all families can share in the celebration.

Thank you for your continued support — we look forward to recognizing our amazing students and their hard work!

Update from the Nurse Office Update from the Nurse Office

Cold and flu season has started. Now is a great time to get you and your student the flu vaccine. Covid vaccines are available also, ask your doctor if you qualify for one. Included is a flier about when to keep kids home due to illness and when they can return to school. Thank you for helping to keep our school healthy!

Two other fliers are provided to help families with managing medications at home and health resources from St.Luke's for both physical and mental health needs. Please reach out to the Strayer nurses using the smsnurses@qcsd.org if you have health concerns regarding your student.

Have a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!
