SILVER FOX NEWS

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday from Ten Oaks Middle!

Remember, schools will be closed December 23, 2024, through January 3, 2025.

See you in the new year!

Congratulations to Mrs. Donna Garrell! She was chosen as TOMS Staff Member of the Week!

Mrs. Garrell has been a 7th Grade Math teacher

at TOMS for 8 years.

Her favorite memory of middle school was being in cheerleading!

Her advice to her middle school self would be... "Be kind to others and yourself. Always follow your heart...not the crowd."

Thank you to Kindness Club for writing and delivering Merry Message candy cane grams to all of our teachers, administrators, support staff, custodians, and all who make TOMS a special place!

We wish you and your family a happy holiday and all the best in the new year!

Thank you to all of our advisory students who participated in the

holiday door decorating competition!

Our winning door was Mrs. Angela Lowery's class!

Thank you to those who helped us with our Angel tree this holiday!

Thank You for helping make this Christmas a little brighter for over 35 children from TOMS.

Your generosity makes us proud to be a Silver Fox!

The students will participate in several different activities during the school year that will work to foster leadership skills while promoting kindness. We look forward to seeing you in the Kindness Club!

We have partnered with the company safeDISMISSAL.COM for our dismissal process. One of the many features of this new dismissal process is that your children will remain comfortably and safely in their classroom until the moment they will meet you in the "car loading zone". We have included a short video to explain the procedure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qsPysljBRo.

All students received their Yellow Pick-up Card at Back to School Open House or on the first day of school. If you need a card, please request from your child's Advisory teacher.
