Waukazoo families,
Camp Read-A-Lot is almost complete! We have had such a great month celebrating reading and making memories together. Our students have been working hard to earn their camp badges, and especially the Happy Camper badge once they've read 10 books from the Genre list! All reading logs are due by next Tuesday. We hope you will continue reading as a family at home all year long!
Today, we had a great time with the Outdoor Discovery Center. With support from our PTA, they put on two assemblies for our students! We hope today was a memorable moment for our students to learn about the outdoors and learn to be curious. If your family has not been out to visit the Outdoor Discovery Center, give it a try! They have so much to explore including live animals, trails to walk, and fun playground equipment to play on. Ask your student tonight what kinds of animals they saw at the assembly today!
Next week, we have four full days of school, then it is time for Spring Break! We hope all our Waukazoo families find time to rest and relax before we finish the school year strong.
