Our 2nd nine week's has come to an end, and we want to wish Ms. Dean and Coach Tew a very happy retirement! News regarding the new PE teacher will be shared in January. We hope each of our staff and families has a safe and relaxing winter break. We look forward to seeing everyone back for learning on Monday, January 12, 2026!

Attendance Challenge

Congratulations to 2nd Grade as they had the best attendance for December 8-12 followed closely by 3rd and 1st grades. We look forward to the continued Attendance Challenge in the the spring semester.

Volunteer at Eaton

Volunteer training must be completed EVERY year for Level I -- this means you want to come in to the school and support students and staff! Please click the shared link and review the NHCS Volunteer Orientation and complete the Volunteer Orientation Assessment. This is Level I volunteering! When you complete the orientation and assessment, your responses and information goes straight to the district. Dr. McCarty reviews the district list twice a week so that Eaton's Level I Volunteer list is up to date.

Level II: This is required every three (3) years -- this means you want to attend a field trip or volunteer in our cafeteria and other locations outside of the classroom! This requires an application, background check and approval at district level. You can check within the app to verify your Level 2 expiration.

NHCS Parent & Caregiver Academy

This program strives to promote parent involvement through improved communication between parents & teachers while enhancing understanding of the curriculum & instructional strategies so that parents can participate in their child's education.
