A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families,
MCP3 has some very busy weeks coming up ahead- so please be sure to read through the entire newsletter to be in the know of all of our happenings!
MCP families, we want to hear from you! Our short Quarter 1 Family Pulse Survey opens today- Tuesday, October 6, and closes Friday, October 16. Look for the link in your email, family newsletter, and Class Dojo. Here is the Family Survey Link: https://mkeprep.fillout.com/t/uyTuXJwBvnus
Your feedback helps us understand how your family experiences MCP and where we can improve. We will ask the same questions each quarter to track progress and take action throughout the year. Results will be reviewed October 19 and used to identify next steps at our October 23 Network Summit. Every family’s voice matters. Please take a few minutes to participate and help us continue Protecting What Matters Most.
Fall Fest is this Friday 10/16 from 9:30-11:15. Please come join your child at school and have some Fall Fun playing games, crafting, and enjoying special time together!
Picture Day is October 19th
- Scholars must wear their MCP3 Uniforms!
- Make sure your scholar is ON TIME. School starts at 8:00am.
- Your scholar will be bringing home a picture information card with directions on how to purchase pictures- Be on the look out for this information to come.
- Practice Smiling! :)
Upcoming Field Trips
- Wednesday, 10/21: Room 121 (Panthers) & Room 122 (Tigers) go to Kids in Motion 9:00-1:00pm. Scholars may wear jeans with their uniform tops.
- Thursday, 10/22: Rooms 123 (Antelopes), 124 (Bulldogs), & 125 (Golden Eagles) go to We Rock the Spectrum 9:00-11:30pm. Scholars may wear jeans with their uniform tops.
No School Friday 10/23 & Monday 10/26 Please plan accordingly

Our MCP3 payment policy states that payment must be made in advance of services. Be sure to make your payment on time so that your scholar's seat remains in good standing with our program.

Week 3: Pets
Most children, when asked, will claim that their pets are members of the family. This week, children will learn about different kinds of pets and ways to take care of them. Understanding that pets have needs and require special care can help children learn to be more compassionate and caring towards others.

STEAM: Pet Graph
Scholars will get to vote for their favorite pet and the class will try to answer the question, "Which pet is the most popular with the class?" by creating a Bar/Pictograph.
