February 15-17

For students attending McCallum high school next year, the MAC counselors will visit Lamar February 15-17 to complete choice sheets with students in their science class. Please review the McCallum choice sheet and parent presentation with your student to be prepared prior to their visit.

We’ve streamlined our application process for programs across Austin ISD so you only have to fill out one.

Why it matters: Before, if you wanted your student to apply to LASA High School, Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, and an Early College High School program, you’d be filling out three different applications.

• Now there’s one application to rule them all: the Common Application for Schools of Choice.

Getting started: You’ll need your Austin ISD portal login credentials.

• If you don’t have those or forgot your password, you can get them on the Austin ISD portal.

Yes, but: Some programs may require an essay, report cards or other materials. Check the application or reach out to the program for details.

Go deeper: Explore our programs at our new Have it All page, which details information on these programs and more.
