It's Been a Great Week at BES!!
Good Afternoon,
It is very hard to believe, but we are halfway through the school year. Teachers are finalizing grading and getting all grades in Power School now. Report cards will be viewable in Parent Portal on January 8. I sent out their Bi-Weekly Progress Report today. That will let you know their year to date average in each subject as of today. We hope these reports help to keep you better informed of your child's progress in school.
It has been a great first half of the school year. We are very excited to report that our kids performed very well on the Winter Diagnostic. The teachers', the kids' and your hard work is paying off. We had 5% more on grade level in both subjects this winter than we did last winter. Watching our kids grow is so very exciting. Thank you for all your support.
Please know that we value your input. If you have any questions, comments, concerns or suggestions, please let us know. You can email us or call us anytime. We will respond within 48 hours of receiving the message. At BES, our mission is to partner with the home and community to provide a safe, supportive and innovative learning environment to ensure ALL students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and core values needed for success. These actions will enable us to reach of vision of creating a learning community that to Believe in themselves, Excel in performance, and Succeed in life.
I hope you each have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you all in January.
