π Eagle Eye
Our Eagle Eye is focused on... Back to School!
- Students in Kinder-6th grade will enter through the gate in the corner of the drop off loop (big parking lot).
- Students will only enter through the office (double doors that face the street) if they arrive after the bell rings.
- TK students will be dropped off at the TK/Kinder gate in the small parking lot.
- TK and Kinder students are released at the TK/Kinder gate in the small parking lot.
- Please don't stress about back to school supplies...we will provide everything your student needs. The only thing they need from home is a backpack, water bottle, and lunchbox if they'll be bringing their lunch. If you need assistance with these supplies, please contact our community schools site coordinator, Ramona Leal.
- The office remodel is complete! If you need to visit the office, please use the buzzer at the front doors of the school (facing McGowan).
- We are a closed campus. All visitors must scan their ID at the office to be run through our Raptor system and get a visitor's badge before being allowed on campus for meetings, events during the day, or volunteering. Because we are a closed campus, we cannot allow parents and family members on campus for the first day of school. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
π« PBIS
Olivehurst Elementary utilizes PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) to promote positive behavior through explicitly teaching consistent expectations, recognizing and reinforcing students that meet those expectations, and providing support and interventions for students who are struggling to meet behavioral expectations. Ask your student about our SOAR expectations and Golden Tickets!
π PTA
Our PTA (Parent Teacher Association) will be at the TK/Kinder Meet the Teacher event on August 11th as well as at Back to School Night for 1st-6th grades) on August 26th. Please stop by to find out how you can get involved and support your child's school.

π Principal's Corner
Dear Olivehurst Elementary Families,
Welcome to a new school year! I am honored and excited to join the Olivehurst Elementary community as your new principal. It is a privilege to serve our students, families, and staff, and I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the year. I recognize the strong leadership that has come before me, and I am committed to building on that foundation and serving our school community with dedication, integrity, and care.
At Olivehurst Elementary, we believe that educating children is a partnership. Families play an essential role in every child's success, and I value the trust you place in us each day. As we begin the 2026β2027 school year, I look forward to working alongside you to provide every student with a high-quality education in a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
My goal is for every student to feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to grow both academically and personally. Open communication between home and school is key to achieving that goal, and I encourage you to stay connected with your child's teacher and support team throughout the year.
I am excited to welcome our students back on August 12th and look forward to meeting each of you as we begin what I know will be a wonderful school year together.
