Thank you to our teachers that participated in our Make-A-Wish challenge.
Together, our teachers, our administration, our parents and our students create a powerful, enriching learning environment where every student is inspired to grow. Even small acts of volunteerism can make a difference and we appreciate our generous parents.
The LAST Nerf Night of the year will be Saturday, February 7th from 5:30- 8pm. The cost is $15.00 per person.
Nerf Night is for Legacy families only. Participants must be 7 and up (6-year-olds may play if a parent is in the gym with them). This is an excellent time for families to play together. Parents are invited to play as well. Bring your own blasters to the event (we do not provide blasters). Students may not bring their blasters to school during school hours. Do not bring darts or discs. Protective eye wear and darts are provided. Parents will be required to sign a waiver prior to this event; no exceptions will be made. Come enjoy a fun night with your Legacy friends and family.
Please sign up to volunteer or donate concession items using the link above. We will need help setting up, tearing down, and judges. Any parents that donate food or time may apply it to their volunteer hours as DOUBLE hours. ($10 in donations = 2 volunteer hours for this event!
Doors will open at 5:30pm. Players/parents will not be permitted in the building early unless they are helping set up. Parents must come inside and sign the 2025-26 waiver.

Feb 12th we are in need of two volunteers to assist with the installation of 4 upper and 4 lower cabinets. If you are available to help please email Vickey.harjo@legacyk8.org. No experience required.
Students that submitted their participation forms are busy working on their science fair projects. We can’t wait to see our students' projects on March 5th.
As we approach Dr. Seuss Week, we look forward to celebrating the joy of reading and creativity of his stories. Students may celebrate Dr. Seuss Week by participating in our themed dress days. Dr. Seuss books and math sheets will offer an opportunity to support our curriculum in a joyful way. His text supports critical thinking, creative expression, literacy development, such as rhyming, phonemic awareness, vocabulary and comprehension skills.
