March has arrived with energy, achievement, and momentum. Over the past few weeks, Horizon has celebrated remarkable successes - from academic accomplishments and competitions to meaningful school events that brought our community together. Now, we look ahead to a very busy and exciting month filled with midterm exams, special recognitions, and important deadlines. March is a month of focus, growth, and continued excellence, and we are proud of the dedication, creativity, and leadership we see across our campus every day.
Moments That Matter at HLA
The past few weeks at Horizon Leadership Academy have been filled with exciting milestones and meaningful experiences across our school community. We proudly celebrated being named a 2026 National School of Character, a prestigious recognition that reflects our commitment to developing students with strong values and integrity. Shortly after, we had the honor of welcoming U.S. Congressman Christian Menefee, who visited our campus, engaged with students, and inspired future leaders. We also came together to celebrate our boysโ soccer team becoming Regional Champions, recognizing their hard work, teamwork, and dedication. Our vibrant Multicultural Day brought the community together through student presentations, traditional foods, cultural attire, and performances that highlighted the diversity of our school. In addition, students across all grade levels participated in a school field trip, where they enjoyed a fun and engaging experience outside the classroom, creating lasting memories with their peers. We concluded these celebrations by recognizing School Principal Day, honoring Mr. Kaya for his leadership, dedication, and ongoing impact on our students and school community.
