A Few Words From the Principal

We are approaching the one month mark of the 2025-2026 school year. We have enjoyed getting to know all of our 6th grade students and seeing our 7th and 8th graders jump into learning. Thank you for being kind to one another, focusing in class, and putting the best you forward every day. I am looking forward to celebrating the many accomplishments and successes of our students this year.

We started our sports competitions this week and our students represented themselves, MT, and the community well. Congratulations! Parents thank you for supporting your student and our MTMS athletes.

In the next few weeks there are lots of opportunities for our students including our school social on September 12. This is an opportunity for the students to spend some time enjoying the company of each other while socializing. We will have a DJ playing music as well as an open gym. There is more information about the social below. We hope to see everyone there.

MT is hiring! We have two (2!!) Resource para positions open at MT and we need your help! Please share with anyone you believe would be a good fit! This is also a great opportunity to work similar hours if you have a student here or close by! Feel free to contact the main office for more information.

Timberwolf Success Program - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

An opportunity for our students to get support from teachers and to get homework completed before going home is our Timberwolf Success Program(TSP). TSP started September 4th. Timberwolf Success Program is most Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 3:05 - 4:30 in the Media Center. There are three teachers there including at least one math teacher everyday. This is a great opportunity for students to finish up work, get some additional help if they do not understand what they are learning, or if they get behind due to absences. See the flyer below for more information.
