Week of April 12th

State Testing

We will be administering state tests in April. Please note, Tuesday, April 13th, will be a testing day for 7th, 8th, and 11th grade. Grades 9, 10, and 12 will not report to school that day and will have an asynchronous remote learning day. This means that they will complete assigned work at their own pace and will not have to participate in Zoom/Google Meet classes at scheduled times.

April 13th:

7th and 8th Graders will be taking four units of the IAR
11th Graders will be taking the SAT
Grades 9, 10, 12 will have a remote asynchronous learning day

April 14th:

All students will report to school
7th and 8th graders will be taking one unit of the IAR
11th graders will be taking the ISA over three days in American History class (April 14-16)

April 15th

All students will report to school
11th graders will be taking the ISA

Important Dates for Seniors

April 24th: Coronation (6:30 pm) and Prom (7-9)
May 12th: Honor's Night
May 17th: Seniors' Last Day!
May 20th: Great America Trip
May 21st: Commencement Practice (8:30 am)
May 22nd: Commencement (10 am)

7th Grade Student of the Week

Jacob Warrenfeltz

Congratulations to Jacob Warrenfeltz for earning 7th grade Student of the Week! His teachers had the following to say about him:

Jacob is an excellent student. He does meticulous work. I have been very impressed with his SAE project for FFA raising rabbits and his in-depth knowledge surrounding that.

Jacob is polite, respectful, and responsible. He gets along well with everyone and is willing to help whenever needed. He knows what is expected and always works to put forth his best effort. Jacob sets a great example for his peers!

Jacob is great student; always willing to help out his fellow classmates. He is willing to make mistakes and learn from them. He is engaged and participates in class daily!

Congratulations, Jacob! We will be recognizing an 8th grader next week.
