Things to Know:
Safety Reminder:
Please drive with caution on the school campus for drop off and pick up. Students and staff are entering and exiting the building. We want to be sure that everyone is safe. Thank you for your cooperation. Please notice the new crosswalk to the tennis courts. If you participate in car line pick up or drop off, please have students enter and exit car on the right side.
November Whole School Assembly:
This Thursday our second graders hosted our whole school assembly. They shared what they are grateful for in their lives and encouraged everyone in our school to write what they are grateful for on a leaf to display in our main lobby. The display will help us learn about each other and what makes us feel grateful.
Kindness Week Wrap Up:
This week we celebrated our SPARK core value of Kindness across our school. We hosted spirit days to help us learn more about each other and create a "Caught Being Kind" bulletin board where students and staff can celebrate each other for stepping up and helping out in our community.
FYI - Newton Children's Book Festival is this Sunday:
The 2nd annual Newton Children's Book Festival is taking place on Sunday, November 16th! They have such an amazing line up of award-winning authors and illustrators, many of whom are popular in the library!

NOTES FROM OUR NURSE: MRS. LEBLANC
There have been confirmed cases of head lice in several of our Natick Public School buildings. While head lice can be a nuisance, it is not a health concern. Please click to review the NPS policy on head lice (pediculosis). Our NPS nurses support policy that is grounded in evidence-based research rather than stigma or fear.
Please remember that it is the parents/guardians responsibility to conduct regular checks of their student’s hair, to begin AAP-approved treatment if any nits or lice are found, and to notify close contacts. In most cases, an infestation has likely been present for several weeks before detection.
