Principal's Weekly Update
Week of September 23-27
Administrator's Message 🐾
Wildcat Families,
Today marks the end of the first grading period of the 24/25 school year! Progress report grades will be available in Aeries next week for your review.
Our first English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meeting is this Monday, September 23rd at 3:30pm in room 20. Please join us! The agenda is linked here.
Our student store, Cat Corner, will be making its grand opening on Thursday after school. We are still accepting donations for snacks, goodies, for our students. Please drop off donations in the main office.
We're starting to see many damages to district provided devices. We want to remind our students and families of the hardware policy and cost associated with the repairs needed. This policy can also be found in the FSUSD Parent/Student Handbook. Any fees associated with these damages are billed to parents, and sent via email. Unpaid bills will be sent via mail monthly.
-Ms. Rivera & Ms. Rockwell
Celebrating Our Community’s Diversity
The cities of Fairfield and Suisun City are two of the most diverse communities in California. To honor that diversity, each week FSUSD will be sharing information about the cultures that make up our extra special learning community.
Native American Day is celebrated on the fourth Friday of September every year, falling on September 27 this year. Native American Day honors and celebrates Native Americans. The first Americans who lived in the United States before the first explorers and settlers from Europe colonized the lands. This means that the Native Americans lived from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and from the northern reaches of Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. Native Americans have played and continue to play a huge role in the history of the United States.
