What an incredible first year it has been for our 5th Grade Debate Team! They debated on a multitude of topics like should SIS have year-round school, should students have mandatory uniforms and whether the government should spend resources on space exploration. A special highlight to finish the year was a visit from members of the high school debate team, who generously volunteered their time to demonstrate what a structured debate looks like at a competitive level. Their visit inspired our students and gave them a clear, exciting picture of what’s possible with continued practice and commitment. They were amazing! It has been a great year for the debate team!

Get Ready for Field Day! Join us for a day of fun, games, and outdoor excitement! Field Day is happening this Friday, May 16, and you won’t want to miss it. Bring your energy, team spirit, and let’s make it a day to remember!
