Sacajawea Middle School is starting a new chapter in how we educate our children! This is a huge learning curve for all us, but we will navigate our new normal together. Rest assured, we are doing our best to figure out best options for ALL scholars because we, like you, want the BEST for our children.
Your scholar's teachers will be reaching out to you a few times a week via email. Please do not hesitate to send replies as this will be the best way to communicate with us. By now, your scholar has received a schoolwork packet. Our email addresses are listed on our school webpage. We look forward to hearing from you.
iReady resources in Reading and Math are available to your scholar from home. Your scholar knows how to login from the website. Teachers can assign activites and assignments as well as monitor achievement progress. Ask your scholar about it today!
We will also be communicating to you via our school Facebook and Twitter pages. Please search for us soon! We will be posting some fun family activities as well as videos from teachers.
A few tips for learning success at home:
1. Stick to a daily routine
2. Read at least 30 minutes per day
3. Exercise at least 30 minutes per day
This is a very challenging time for our community. Adults and children are stressed which makes it very difficult to teach and learn. We know the importance of connection and we are committed to staying connected with you through this crisis.
