Hallway Sweeps

Hallway Sweeps are back! Starting October 7th, we implemented Hallway sweeps to encourage students to get to class on time. Students need to utilize the bells, with one warning bell indicating there is 1 minute left before the final bell rings. Clear hallways not only ensure students are maximizing their time in class but also possesses safety and security in the building. Our aim is not to penalize students but to guide them towards responsible behavior and academic success. Thank you for your cooperation! We appreciate your support in reinforcing this message!

Important Reminder!

All students need to come to school with their iPad charged every day. We do not have the ability to charge iPads during class. It is the responsibility of our students to come prepared to learn and do their school work and a part of that is having their materials ready to use each day.

Parent Day Visits

If you are interested in participating in a Parent Day Visit please fill out the form below. This event will take place during school hours. It is an opportunity for parents to visit a classroom, connect with other parents, and see the great things happening in our school.

Century College TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) – Free College Access Program

Hello parents and students!

We are TRIO ETS, a free government-funded college access program designed to support potential first-generation college students and students with low-income. However, we may except others outside those requirements on a needs basis.

What is a first-generation college student? If a student’s parents did not receive further education after high school, then their child has the opportunity to become a first-generation college student. We want our students to pursue and complete education after high school, so our program provides multiple benefits to help them achieve this. These include educational workshops, college campus visits, STEM-focused field trips, one-on-one college and career advising, and FREE access to Tutor.com.

If you or someone you know wants to go to college, wants to become a better student, and wants assistance, we are actively accepting applications right now for all grades. Apply online below and we will reach out to your school email about your application! Otherwise, feel free to drop by in the CCC on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school day. Click Here to Apply: TRIO ETS Online Application

Besides that, here are the following field trips and workshops we have planned for the Fall.

· Field Trips

o Thursday, October 3rd: College Campus Visit to UW-Stout and UW-River Falls

o Thursday, October 17th: Volunteering w/ Urban Roots

o Friday, November 8th: Century College Day

· Workshops (Date and Time TBD; during the school day)

o 9th Grade: Building a College Profile | You are “College Material”

o 10th Grade: Preparing for a Career | Exploring Career Paths & Academics to Career

o 11th Grade: Top 5 Colleges | Reading an Award Letter

o 12th Grade: College Applications | Senior Transition
