Congratulations to the new students of AVID at Patton Middle School! This is the first year of the program at the middle school level, which launched this week at both Patton and Duniway.

Families were sent a ThoughtExchange via ParentSquare this week asking for input on lifting the mask mandate while still focusing on keeping our schools open.

Although the story centered on Duniway, the reporter also visited Erika Rada’s classroom at Newby to see how the district supports math instruction at the elementary level. These strategies and supports are at all levels and all schools in this district!

Yamhill County Public Health’s walk-in vaccine clinic scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 12, has been moved to Buel Elementary.

The clinic runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. All vaccines will be offered.
