This Month at the WIS

Dear WIS Parents / Guardians,

I hope that your summer has been going well. This summer at WIS has been a very busy one. As you know, Wall Intermediate School has been scheduled for quite a few construction projects. I am pleased to say that we are on pace for the start of the school year. Listed below are the specific projects.

• new locker rooms (boys/girls) and locker room bathrooms (boys/girls)
• new HVAC in the main gym and auditorium
• full renovations to the art room and technology lab
• conversion of a general classroom into an additional art room
• new flooring in designated general classrooms

As we move closer to the start of the school year, information will be sent out to you via email regarding the start of the school year. Please make sure that your email address is up to date in the GENESIS PARENT PORTAL. Student schedules will be accessible through the GENESIS PARENT PORTAL on Friday, August 22nd at 3:00 PM. A student's schedule will identify the classes and teachers assigned, which team they are assigned (ex. Team 7-1) and their locker number/location. A student's locker location is determined by the location of their homeroom. Parents are encouraged prior to the first day of school to view the student schedule again in case there were any classes that needed to be adjusted.

In closing, the staff wishes you well and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on our first day of school on Thursday, September 4th.

Sincerely,

Mr. Laughlin

Principal
Wall Intermediate School
