Good evening,

It has been an awesome opening to the school year! Thank you to all of our families for your flexibility with our schedule and for doing such a great job following our arrival and dismissal procedures. Your cooperation has helped everything run very smoothly!

Next week is our Grades 1–5 Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 10th. A schedule for the evening is attached, and we look forward to seeing everyone!

Also, our Superintendent’s Coffee will be held on Tuesday, September 8th at 8:15 AM in the Garrettford Library. This is a great opportunity to hear updates directly from Dr. McGarry and ask any questions you may have. We hope you can join us!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is a 12:15 PM dismissal, and there is no school Friday or Monday for Labor Day.

Garrettford families are invited to join Dr. McGarry and his team for our Superintendent’s Coffee on Tuesday, September 8th at 8:15 AM in the Garrettford Library. This is a great opportunity to hear district updates, ask questions, and enjoy a cup of coffee with our district leadership team.

Home and School Association Updates

We want to welcome our new families and welcome back to returning families for the 26-27 school year! We are so excited to get to know you! Mark your calendars for our first Home and School Association meeting on September 15th at 6pm. We will meet in the school library but we will also have a virtual option if you can’t make it in person. Please see the attachment for future meeting dates and other exciting plans to come!

3rd, 4th and 5th grade families please be on the lookout for band and orchestra sign ups. They should have come home in your child's take home folder this week. Sign ups end Sept 11th. If your child played an instrument with Mrs. Lesniak last year and is playing the SAME instrument this year no need to sign up again, lessons will hopefully start back up next week. Be on the lookout for an email.
