Classroom Spotlight
๐ Classroom Spotlight: Ms. King's Kindergarten Class
Ms. Kingโs Kindergarten students are truly demonstrating what it means to be high-level learners! This month, they have been busy working hard on essential skills like alphabet recognition and sounds, alongside making great strides in their Number Corner learning. Weโve been thrilled to see them demonstrate their knowledge both independently and through rich partner work. Beyond academics, Ms. King's class earned a wonderful celebration: the All-Class Thanksgiving Lunch! Every student enjoyed a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal as a reward for meeting their class goals and family agreements. We are so proud of their collective success!

Parenting with Purpose: Building Skills at Home
Parenting is a daily practice in connection, not perfection. Using the Conscious Discipline framework, you can shift from reacting to teaching in moments that matter most. Try these three simple tips to strengthen your relationship with your child:
Create safety through composure: Your calm is their calm. Take a deep breath before responding so your child can borrow your regulated state.
Connect before you correct: Eye contact, a gentle touch, or getting down on their level helps your child feel seen and ready to cooperate.
- Model and teach skills: Instead of focusing on what went wrong, guide your child toward what to do next. Every challenge becomes a chance to learn. For more tools and inspiration, explore the Conscious Discipline resources at: https://consciousdiscipline.com/resources/
