We are excited to welcome Nurse Morgan and Nurse Lily to the Rush Creek Health Office this school year! We are so grateful to have them caring for and supporting our students and families.

Meet Nurse Morgan

Hi, Rush Creek families! My name is Morgan, and I am excited to be one of the nurses in the Rush Creek Health Office this year! I have been a registered nurse for 10 years and have a diverse nursing background, caring for everyone from NICU babies small enough to fit in my hand to patients over 100 years old—and every age in between.

I began working as a substitute nurse for Osseo Area Schools at the end of last school year and absolutely loved it! Outside of school, my four kids keep me busy. Our family also includes two fur babies, Rusty and Slinky, who are both Dachshunds, as well as my daughter, age 6, and son, age 3. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me outside with my kids, cycling, or reading my latest book recommendation.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to getting to know the Rush Creek community!

Meet Nurse Lily

Hi, Rush Creek families! I’m Nurse Lily, and I will be at Rush Creek on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I was one of the nurses at Fernbrook last year, and I am super excited to be joining the Rush Creek community!

Fun fact: My sister teaches 5th grade at Rush Creek—she is Mrs. Mezzano! 😊

I can’t wait to meet all of the students and families at Rush Creek and look forward to a wonderful school year!

Parents/Guardians are welcome to join their child for lunch during their scheduled lunch time in our designated Family Lunch Space. This designated space helps ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of all students.

All visitors must follow the school’s sign-in and sign-out procedures at the front office. To help make the process as smooth as possible, please call the office ahead of time. We will have your student meet you in the office before lunch so you can walk together to the Family Lunch Space.

If you plan to pick up your student early from school, please notify the office by 2:00 p.m. We will arrange for your student to be in the office at the scheduled pickup time.

To minimize missed instructional time and help ensure a smooth dismissal, please notify the office as early as possible whenever you know your student will be leaving early.

For the safety of our students, parents/guardians will be asked to wait in the vestibule while their student is brought to the office.

Please note that students will not be released for early pickup after 3:30 p.m. without prior arrangements, as our dismissal process has already begun.

For the safety and security of all our students and staff, everyone entering the building must sign in and out.

Our Raptor Sign-In process has moved to the vestibule. Visitors and volunteers will now sign in using the iPad located in the vestibule.

Please remember to bring a government-issued photo ID to complete the sign-in process. You may also download the Raptor Safe App to generate a QR code for a quicker sign-in.

Once you have completed the sign-in process, ring the buzzer located to the left of the iPad. A staff member will assist you and provide access to the building.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone at our school!

Parents and caregivers are welcome to come cheer on their student(s) during this fun school event! Please park in the front of the school and walk around to the field at the back of the school to watch the race.

We look forward to seeing you there and cheering on our students!
