You will receive a weekly newsletter from Windsor via email every Friday afternoon. This newsletter will include important information as well as upcoming events. The newsletter will also be posted on Windsor's website each week.

Our next newsletter will give you information about school safety, arrival and dismissal practices, communication, absences/tardies, PTA, ABC/25 Foundation, staffing update, and the Wildcat Way Schoolwide Behavior System.

Lindsay Anastacio

My name is Lindsay Anastacio and I am the Principal at Windsor. This is my 23rd year in Education. I started my career as a Special Education Teacher at Springman Middle School in Glenview. I taught for two years at Springman and then moved to Barrington220 and taught intermediate Instructional Special Education for the next nine years. During my time in Barrington, I completed a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s Degree in School Leadership. In 2015, I came to Arlington Heights School District 25 as a Special Education Coordinator and worked at Olive, Ivy, Patton, and Thomas. After my first year in the district, I transitioned here to Windsor! I spent four years as the Assistant Principal and Student Service Coordinator. This was a true highlight in my career to be a part of Windsor working with both the general education as well as the instructional programs! When the opportunity arose to move into the role of Principal, I was excited to continue at a school I love as well as continue my involvement with the Instructional programs. This will be my seventh year as the principal of Windsor School!

Personally, my husband and I have three daughters, Lanie (17) who will be a senior at Prospect High School, Abby (15) who will be a sophomore at Prospect, and Josephine (8) who will be a third grader at Fairview. We live nearby in Mount Prospect. We spend a lot of our free time watching Abby and Jo play softball. Also, you may run into me at the PHS football games, as Lanie and Abby are both part of the color guard that performs at half time.

Melanie Soprano

My name is Melanie Soprano and I am the assistant principal and student services coordinator at Windsor. I am in my 28th year in the field of education. I attended Illinois State University for my bachelors degree. I began my career as a resource teacher at Anne Sullivan Elementary School in Prospect Heights District 23. In 2000, I came to District 25 as a resource teacher at Olive-Mary Stitt. During my 19 years at Olive I obtained my masters degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University and masters in Educational Leadership from Aurora University. In 2020 I came to Windsor and I am excited to be in my 7th year as a Wildcat! This job has allowed me to continue doing what I love with the best teachers and students!

I live in Arlington Heights with my husband and two daughters, Francesca (10) and Elizabeth (8). Our girls are involved with swimming, soccer, and basketball so my husband and I have been spending time driving and cheering them on as they do what they love!!
