BOBCAT BRIEFS

I grew up in Texas...southern Texas...where we wore shorts and sweatshirts at Christmas. Trees stayed green for a long time, and when the leaves finally turned colors, they turned brown and fell off the trees. Fall trees are one of my favorite things about Missouri. Maple trees are so beautiful and truly signal the arrival of Autumn.

I can't believe it is already November. November is known as the month of gratitude. We get the opportunity to show our gratitude for the many Veterans who have served our country. Don't forget the Veteran's Day Assembly at 1:00 on November 10 in the New Gym.

We also get the opportunity to reflect on the many things we have to be thankful for. I am thankful for the opportunity to work in Lonedell. I am thankful for each and every staff member who has made it a priority to put students first. I am thankful for the many students filling the hallways of Lonedell R-14. I am thankful for the laughs, the smiles, the hugs, and the opportunities to work together!

I hope you each have a great month filled with many blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mrs. Banderman
