Ashland Preschool Weekly Update

Hi, everyone,

Just a reminder that next Friday, March 17 is an Early Release Day for Professional Development. This means full-day sessions will dismiss after lunch between 12:05 and 12:15pm. There will be no PM sessions.

The Preschool PTO will be setting up some St. Patrick's Day activities in the library for classes to use throughout the week! Don't forget to wear GREEN on Friday, March 17!

Don't forget to sign up for the next round of Parent / Teacher Conferences!

If you know of anyone looking for a preschool experience, we currently have AM/PM sessions open for the 2023-2024 school year. More information about preschool registration is available here.

It is time for the Cards for a Cause PTO fundraiser! The Ashland PTO will be selling boxes of hand-crafted greeting cards for all occasions. Each box is $30 and contains 30 cards with coordinating envelopes. There are several boxes to choose from, including two all-occasion boxes, a holiday card box, thanks and blanks, and a children’s birthday box. With each $30 purchase, Ashland PTO will receive $13. These funds will go back to the school and teachers! When the cards are delivered, they will go home with your students.

Parent/teacher conferences will be held March 28-30. On that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the school will dismiss before lunch at 11:30 a.m. Dismissal will be from 11:20-11:30 a.m. There will be no PM session on conference days.

Conferences are a great opportunity for families to engage in conversations about their child's learning profile and progress. We look forward to this time to have quality discussions with you about your child's development. Please arrange for childcare, so you can actively participate without distractions. If children need to attend, please plan an activity they can do or bring snacks for them.

Classroom teachers will be sharing their room sign-ups. Please work directly with your child's teacher to schedule.

April 12: Ashland Preschool Open House 4:30-6 p.m. (Stay tuned for more information.)
