MVMS Parent Update

We are excited to invite you to our special Jazz Band event, Pops and Tops, happening tonight at 7 PM in the middle school commons! This event promises an evening filled with lively jazz music and talented performances by our students.

It's a fantastic opportunity to support our budding musicians and enjoy a delightful evening of entertainment. We encourage you to join us and experience the vibrant energy of our Jazz Band.

Below are the remaining testing dates at MVMS.

8th Grade Science Ohio State Test and MAP Science (6th and 7th) - April 30th

Testing begins at the start of school and is complete by 10:30. For that reason, we will be running a modified schedule.

Are you interested in designing, building, coding, driving, or documenting the design robotics process? The middle school is now accepting applications for 7th and 8th graders for the 25-26 school year for MV Robotics in which students compete in Vex VRC. Applications are DUE April 30th!

MVMS offers after school homework help from 2:40 - 4:00 on most Tuesday and Thursdays. While we call it homework help, students are able to bring any work or assignment that they need support on from their classes and there are teachers available to offer support. The full schedule of dates the homework help is offered is below. For those that need transportation home from homework help, there is a bus that takes students to the Learning Center, East, Pleasant Street, Dan Emmett, and Columbia.

Please access the OneView Parent Portal to complete and/or update student forms. The Accessible Use Policy (AUP) and updated Emergency Medical Form (EMF) must be completed prior to your student being issued a Chromebook from the school. If you come in during school hours, Sherry Alexander would be happy to help you get logged in and completed. You can also email her at salexander@mvcsd.us or call 740-392-6867, ext 5906.

Updated school fees have been posted and payments can be made through Pay For It, or by stopping in the office to pay in person.
